ikea pax wardrobe

today i spent nearly 6 hours at IKEA.  how does that happen?!  between designing, hunting, hauling, lunching, waiting, and shipping, one can come to really hate that place [more].

i was waiting it out to find a wardrobe i liked, but the clutter in my room and in the hallway (sorry, flatmates) won out.  i wanted to avoid IKEA at all costs, but then the job-freeness had its say.  i guess the upside is that since their PAX line of cabinets is modular, maybe later i can go overboard and add lighting and other shite to it later.

however, i still can indulge in my design pr0n.  wanting is almost as good as having, but having is not always as exciting.  here are my finds from yesterday while helping a friend figure out his bed issue:
