@valleywag i'm so glad someone understands
although i do not highly regard valleywag in the least for its tabloid exploitation of silicon valley gossip (although i must say they do a good job of it), it was good to find a concise summation of how i feel about twitter:
As more users join, the Twitter feed becomes filled with more and more noise; repetitive retweetings, back-scratching praise, and self-congratulation. A set of amateurs celebrating each other not for the quality or insight of their reporting, but its brevity, swiftness, and modish form of delivery.
now i just have to find one about yelp.
