Snowball is a Medium Sulphur Crested Eleanora Cockatoo that dances to the Back Street Boys and other songs that he rates as having a "very good beat." He came to Bird Lovers Only Rescue Service, Inc. (a 501c3 not for profit bird rescue and sanctuary) in August 2007 and continues to make us laugh with his fancy footwork.
although i do not highly regard valleywag in the least for its tabloid exploitation of silicon valley gossip (although i must say they do a good job of it), it was good to find a concise summation of how i feel about twitter:
As more users join, the Twitter feed becomes filled with more and more noise; repetitive retweetings, back-scratching praise, and self-congratulation. A set of amateurs celebrating each other not for the quality or insight of their reporting, but its brevity, swiftness, and modish form of delivery.
now i just have to find one about yelp.
just settling in and it's 2am wednesday. there are lots of pilipinos here. more when I get a real internet connection (maybe). i'm already stressed out.
this post probably cost $20 USD due to AT&T lameness.
