sometimes he disappears for weeks at a time (i won't see him again until february) and always has these fantastic stories for me:
I should have known it would come to this. I'm lying in the desert, bleeding from wounds on every limb, the taste of bile in my mouth, staring up at the monster that's promising me another beating. Being a crack addict can have its off days.
Perhaps I should explain. I've been hooked on crack for two years now. To get a fix, I've done things I'm not proud of: spent money I didn't have, blown off friends and family, traveled across oceans, lied to bosses about my whereabouts, risked my life in scary places most people with common sense would be afraid to set foot.
now he's talking about taking me outdoors next year.
